In fact, Express.co.uk has predicted the Cupertino-based giant will unveil what the future of iPhone holds on September 12.
Apple has been widely touted to be planning the launch of three new variants this year.
In addition to showing off a direct successor to the iPhone X, the Cupertino-based giant is also rumoured to unveil a larger version of the iPhone X.
Some have speculated this could be called the iPhone X Plus.
Finally a cheaper iPhone model could also be shown off.
Such a device could ditch the OLED panel present in the current iPhone X in favour of an LCD display to cut costs.
But it appears the new variants could be fitted with fresh internals that could allow for faster wireless charging.

The China Times reported, seen by 9to5Mac, Apple will install a new "wireless charging coil" inside the hardware to allow for greater speeds.
When the iPhone X and iPhone 8 launched they featured glass on the back of the device.
This, combined with a wireless charging coil inside the hardware, allowed for juice to be restored without the need for a cable.

When the flagships launched they were capable of conducting wireless charing at 5W, however this was later increased to 7.5W thanks to a software update.
But the Chinese publication insists the new hardware could be closer to the 15W offered by Samsung.
This means wireless charging could be much more appealing once Apple fans pick up the new smartphones.

It is understood such an increase will come from a new copper wire coil that will be placed inside.
However, the China Times did not disclose which iPhone models would be receiving the new feature.
But with September right around the corner, Apple fans will not have to wait long for the tech giant to debut its new smartphone lineup.
