Samsung opens world's largest mobile experience centre in Bengaluru, more centres coming soon

After opening the biggest mobile factory in Noida back in July this year, Samsung India now opens world's largest mobile experience centre in Bengaluru, India today. The South Korean tech giant further aims to bring more such experience centres in the country in the forthcoming days. By opening the world's largest mobile experience centre, Samsung is aiming to offer first-hand experiences to customers on products related to Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and more.
With this initiative, Samsung is looking forward to further cement its position in India. "We are looking at more number of such experience centres in the country. We are looking at covering all the big cities in India over a period of time with such centres," Mohandeep Singh, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business of Samsung India told IANS on the opening of Samsung Opera centre.
After Bengaluru, we can expect Samsung to open experience centres in some of the metropolitan cities in India. Samsung, however, hasn't mentioned the exact timeline of the opening of other experience centres.
Samsung has opened the experience centre in Bengaluru's iconic Opera House on Brigade Road and calls it "Samsung Opera House". The experience centre will offer VR, AR and IoT experiences to the customers for the first time in India. For example, the customers will be able to enjoy VR experiences such as the 4D Sway Chair or the Whiplash Pulsar 4D chair that makes 360-degrees three-dimensional movements in the experience centre (as shown in the picture below). The Samsung Opera House will also have a fully functional customer service centre and be equipped with high-speed public Wi-Fi.
In addition, Samsung will also showcase its smartphones and wearables lineup at the experience centre. The customers will be able to get their hands on the flagship consumer electronics products like the QLED TV, Smart TVs, The Frame, and Family Hub refrigerators. At the centre, the customers will also able to get hands-on other Samsung products like -- phone covers, cases, power banks, and other accessories by the company. Additionally, the Samsung Opera House will also include a range of Harman Kardon, JBL and Samsung audio products.
The Samsung experience centre will have a home appliance zone where a chef will give live cooking demonstrations using Samsung smart ovens to help the customers understand the products better. The home appliance zone has been designed like a kitchen.
"Today's consumers, especially millennials, seek unique experiences. They want to interact with the brand, touch, feel and create. This is what Samsung Opera House is about. We have curated never seen before experiences that will excite people of all age groups alike. Opera House will also organize workshops, activities and events, bringing together Samsung's innovations with peoples passions. We are proud of the transformation that this place has seen," said HC Hong, President & CEO, Samsung SouthWest Asia on the new Samsung Opera House, Bengaluru.
